Door Frames

Features:

• Dimension excludes the required stop
• A 12mm deep planted stop is adequate for single acting frames whilst double acting frames may be scalloped or square
• All door frame timber must be joinery quality, free from knots, splits and checks
• Frame joints may be mortice and tenoned, mitred, half lapped or butted and with no gaps

Special Features:

• All jointing methods require mechanical fixing with the appropriate size ring shank nails or screws
• The door frame (MDF or timber) may be entirely clad in 2mm thick PVC sheeting for use with leaves either with or without 2mm thick facing material
• Hinge fixings should be fit for purpose.
